Forbes Magazine: ROSS Companies’ President a Woman Business Leader in DC
June 11, 2013
Bethesda, MD – Forbes Magazine is featuring ROSS Companies’ President Beth Ross as one of Washington DC’s Women Business Leaders in its June 10, 2013 edition.
The special section focuses on local female executives and entrepreneurs who play key roles in the economic growth of the Washington, DC metro area. Ross formed her business 25 years ago in her home with two employees and has since grown the company to 300 employees.
“I started this company to manage one of my husband’s multifamily assets in 1988. There was a need in the market for detail-oriented, hands-on property management for multifamily residential real estate. Based on our successes, the business grew exponentially and we now manage more than 11,000 apartments,” says Beth Ross.
“Being featured as one of Washington, DC’s Women Business Leaders is a great honor for me. I have loved growing ROSS Companies from the ground up. We have improved the communities we manage, have created value and opportunity for many partners and have developed a strong team. It’s been very rewarding,” says Ross.
The June 10, 2013 edition of Forbes Magazine also features the Tenth Annual “The World’s Most Powerful Women” list, compiled annually by the publication.
