Enjoy the Season in Living Color

September 1, 2017

Maryland football fans are wearing their team colors proudly at ROSS’ Seven Springs Apartments in College Park.

It’s hard not to be a Terps football fan when you live in the DC area. And when you live in Seven Springs’ apartments in College Park, it’s almost impossible! With the University of Maryland just minutes away and with a free shuttle to get you there, the lure of the stadium is almost irresistible.

As always, the fun begins with a strong show of spirit and pride on National College Colors Day. It might interest you to know that intercollegiate athletics at Maryland began in the late 1800’s, with uniforms that were simply gray or maroon and gray. In the early 1920’s, the colors transitioned to black and gold and stayed that way until 1942, when the football team switched to red and white, with black and gold remaining as accents. Today, all four colors are proudly featured in Terps athletic uniforms, just as they are in the state flag.

Whichever Maryland color you choose to make the focus of your “uniform,” there’s no better place to show your true colors than at an exciting home game at the Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium on any of these dates:

Sept. 9 – Towson

Sept. 23 – UCF

Oct. 14 – Northwestern

Oct. 28 – Indiana

Nov. 11 – Michigan

Nov. 25 – Penn State

The rest of the time, you can celebrate how close ROSS’ Seven Springs Apartments in College Park is to all kinds of important places, like NASA, the FDA and the US Army Research Lab; and incredibly convenient places, like Starbucks, IKEA and Costco. We might also mention that DC is just a short drive away, thanks to immediate access to the Beltway and other major commuter routes.

So, before the leaves turn to red and gold, make a decision as simple as black and white. Cheer the turtle from the conveniently located Seven Springs Apartments in College Park. Call to set up a tour today…and GO TERPS!!!
