Bowie Baysox Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks

What could be a better way to celebrate America’s birthday than with its favorite pastime? On July 4 at 6:35 p.m., the Bowie Baysox will face the Harrisburg Senators at Prince George’s Stadium. The night will finish off with a dazzling fireworks display, viewable from any seat in the house. But, if you feel like splurging, you can escape the heat and purchase a seat in the air-conditioned Luxury Suite. The stadium has sold out for the past five seasons, so grab your tickets soon!

Bowie 4thof July Fireworks and Concert

Also located at Prince George’s Stadium is a free concert and fireworks show on Tuesday, July 2. The concert will be played by The Fabulous Hubcaps, a band true to their name. You can expect to hear the best of the classics, and even see some of them—the band dresses up as some of the artists they cover! Listen to the melodic masterpieces of Elvis, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, and many more with this group’s spirited and unique performance. The doors open at 6 p.m. with food and drink available at the stadium, and then the band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Finally, end the evening with an impressive array of pyrotechnics and fireworks, beginning at 9:15 p.m.
