Get Into The Holiday Spirit At The Clarice Smith Center

November 29, 2016

Enjoy these wonderful performances taking place near ROSS’ College Park apartments.

The holiday season is made for quality time with loved ones. While there are plenty of activities – like parades and tree lightings – to get you in the spirit, a lot of them take place outdoors.

Instead of getting left out in the cold, the residents of ROSS’ College Park apartments can kick back in the comforting heat of The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and feel festive with their wintertime performances.

The Nutcracker

On Sunday, December 4, bring the whole family along to experience this classic holiday ballet performed by Ballet Company M. The show starts at 3 p.m. and tickets are free. “Travel with Clara and her Nutcracker from her mother’s holiday party to a battle of mice and toy soldiers, through a beautiful snow storm and to the Land of Sweets.”

Jim Brickman Comfort & Joy Holiday Tour

On Saturday, December 10, delight in the sounds of piano sensation Jim Brickman as he plays renditions of holiday classics and modern favorites. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $35. “Jim Brickman’s music reminds us that faith, love and togetherness are what we value most this time of year.”

As the weather gets colder, the reasons for staying inside tend to overrule any reasons to face the frigid temps. We get it! The residents of ROSS’ College Park apartments get it, too.

After enjoying these indoor holiday treats, residents can take a quick trip back to a comfortable home within a welcoming community. Longing for a cozy place to call home? Take a tour of ROSS’ College Park apartments to find it!
